Orlando, Fla., Aug. 5, 2014 — Enhancing its collection of Florida and national certifications, Global-5 Communications has officially been certified as a small business enterprise (SBE) by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). This certification applies to the five services Global-5 provides its clients, including public relations and public information, marketing and advertising, production, change management and revenue generation.

“Global-5 continues to expand its certifications to provide clients and teaming partners with greater flexibility,” said Mary Hamill, president and CEO of Global-5. “This is especially beneficial when working in the transportation industry, where our subject matter expertise spans construction innovation, public-private partnerships, value pricing, mobility, intelligent transportation systems and much more.”

This is Global-5’s fifth certification. Others include a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) certification, recognized by departments of transportation in Florida, California, Texas, New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, Utah and Nevada.
