ORLANDO, Fla. (March 10, 2014) — Global-5 Communications was recently honored with a Bronze Telly Award in the 35th Annual Telly Awards for its outstanding efforts in producing three Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) television commercials. The award-winning commercials help promote the safety and security benefits that PSTA offers.

“Working with the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) was a complete pleasure,” said Mary Hamill, president and CEO of Global-5 Communications. “Our creative team knows every single detail has to be just right to pull off a successful advertising campaign. The work they did for PSTA has now been recognized with two very prestigious awards. That validates their planning and exceptional execution for branding, talent selection, scene scouting, videography, directing and post-production management. Our great thanks to PSTA for choosing us to do the work and to the Telly Awards Committee for this recognition.”

Since 1979, the Telly Awards has been considered the premier award in recognizing only the most exceptional television commercials and programs, video and film productions, and online commercials, videos and film. With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, the Telly Awards are selected by a very prestigious judging panel of more than 500 industry professionals, who have won a Silver Telly Award in the past and are a current member of the Silver Telly Council.

This is the second award Global-5 Communications received for the PSTA television commercials. Last fall, the campaign won the “Best in Class” award at the 2013 Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) 39th Annual Conference.
