The annual Florida Construction Career Days events introduce high school students to skilled construction jobs by providing opportunities to operate heavy equipment and speak to experienced workers and industry professionals.

Global-5 provided creative services for updating the Florida Construction Career Days branding and website, and marketing services for increasing awareness at regional events.

To establish a visual connection between the events and the construction industry, we developed a new logo design with a silhouette of an excavator that utilizes an orange and yellow palette, common colors at construction sites. We applied the new logo and visual identity to the Florida Construction Career Days website, Facebook page and event shirts.

We also transitioned the website to a new content management system with increased functionality, including registration forms for schools, sponsors and volunteers, sponsorship payment via PayPal and the ability for event organizers to edit text and upload media.

Leading up to the 2018 Central Florida Construction Career Days event in January, we developed and executed a multiplatform media campaign with messaging for recruiting schools, sponsors and volunteers, and also for soliciting donations.
