Global-5 received two 2011 Telly Awards for video production. The agency received a Telly Award for a video produced for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) showcasing the benefits of a new roadway improvement contract. The video also highlighted best practices for implementing the contract in other areas of the state and nation.

Global-5 received a second 2011 Telly Award for ICF International, an engineering firm specializing in disaster preparedness training. The video was produced as a three-part newscast-style reenactment setting the stage for training priorities before, during and after a hurricane.  The series was used in a tabletop exercise to help Tampa area emergency managers prepare for a direct hit from a Category 5 hurricane.

The 32nd Annual Telly Awards competition drew more than 13,000 competitors worldwide and honors the best cable television commercials and programs, video and film productions, and work created for the Web. The Bronze Anvil is one of the highest recognitions in the communications industry and is presented by PRSA, the nation’s largest public relations association.
