The $2.3 billion I-4 Ultimate project completely reconstructs 21-miles of I-4 though the heart of downtown Orlando. It’s the Florida Department of Transportation’s single largest infrastructure project to date. Global-5 communicates project information to commuters, media and the more than 72 million visitors who rely on I-4 each year.

During construction, the project team is required to keep the same number of interstate lanes open that existed prior to the start of the job. This results in an array of ever-changing temporary traffic configurations as work evolves.

Global-5 created a video with a 360-degree view to help drivers prepare for a complicated shift that combined two exits and one entrance ramp into one collector road, compelling motorists to make decisions up to two miles sooner than before.

Taking drivers into the work zone before the shift occurred, we provided a behind-the-wheel perspective that allowed the more than the 24,000 motorists who use the ramps daily to see what their new commute would look like ahead of time.

Local media used the video in their reporting and Global-5 shared the video across multiple platforms and with various community partners.
