Global-5 created a full suite of products for the Florida Public Transportation Association’s Transit Connects Florida campaign, including print ads, mobile ads, and a fresh website with a new “find-your-ride” function.
Global-5 was honored to be selected by the Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) to lead a first-of-its-kind statewide campaign designed to promote transit ridership, strengthen public awareness, and unify messaging across dozens of local transit agencies.

The “find-your-ride” function developed by Global-5 assists both transit riders and the transit systems that serve them.
The campaign emphasized transit’s role in connecting communities, supporting economic growth, and enhancing safety and sustainability. From concept through execution, Global-5 developed customizable creative assets for television, radio, print, outdoor, digital, and social platforms that individual agencies could adapt to meet their local needs. This approach ensured that messaging was both consistent statewide and tailored to resonate with local riders and stakeholders.
The campaign generated significant measurable results. It delivered more than 106 million impressions across Florida, supported by over 4.5 million Facebook and Instagram views and more than 60 million impressions from 54 billboards (including pivotal boards placed in Tallahassee during the legislative session). Google Ads achieved an interaction rate of 14 percent with nearly 1 million engagements, far above industry averages.

FPTA featured the results
of its Transit Connects Florida campaign on the cover of the association’s member newsletter.
The effort launched with a media event at the Florida State Capitol featuring Rep. Shane G. Abbot (R-District 5). This high-profile function secured earned media coverage and elevated legislative awareness of the essential role transit plays in Florida’s communities.
This campaign illustrates Global-5’s ability to coordinate complex, multi-agency communications efforts while also delivering targeted, localized results. By leveraging its exclusive partnership with iHeartMedia’s Unified Partnerships, a frequent collaborator, Global-5 secured both added value and advanced audience targeting. The campaign shows how large-scale branding and media efforts can reinforce agency credibility, highlight investments in innovation, and engage communities in ways that are transparent, consistent, and measurable.
