Addition of Governmental Affairs to Global-5’s Services Lineup Helps Clients Navigate Regulations, Policies

Global-5 has named Robert “Bobby” Olszewski, Ph.D., to the newly created position of vice president of government and community relations. Olszewski is a former member of the Florida House of Representatives (District 44), serving the theme parks and attractions area of Orange County, as well as a former City of Winter Garden Commissioner.

Olszewski will be responsible for leading all Global-5 government and community affairs efforts throughout the nation. In addition to serving as a program manager for local government clients, he will help clients navigate local, state, and federal government structures, policies, and regulations. In addition, Olszewski will provide counsel regarding policy advocacy and relationship building with community leaders.

“We are delighted to have Bobby with Global-5 and are so excited about the avenues of service that he opens for our clients,” Mary Hamill, founder and president/CEO of Global-5, said. “His first-hand expertise in how transportation policies are shaped, and his understanding of the way public sentiment affects the progress of transportation projects are invaluable assets.”

Danny Perez, Speaker-Designate for the Florida House of Representatives, congratulated Global-5 on its newest addition “This is outstanding news from Global-5. Bobby Olszewski is a great friend and was a wonderful colleague when he served with us in the Florida House of Representatives. His experience and knowledge of government and transportation appropriations and policy issues will greatly benefit all Global-5 clients.”

Olszewski said he could not be more thrilled to be on the Global-5 team. “Having the ability to communicate with millions of community stakeholders daily on our client’s behalf is such a rewarding responsibility.  We have an outstanding team of nearly 40 professionals throughout the nation whom I look forward to working with in making a positive impact for all our government, transportation, and nonprofit clients in marketing, public outreach, and training.”

Prior to joining Global-5, Olszewski was the managing principal of Emerson Management & Consulting Group, Inc.; worked as a consultant for Special Olympics Florida; and was president of Florida Laboratories in Orlando.
